Sebelum gue memulai project Hi5teria, sbelumnya gue udah mengirimkan sinopsis untuk kompetisi dengan FISFIC. Kemudian setelah dikirimkan, proses pengumuman cukup lama. sementara itu gue berusaha untuk mencari produser untuk "Dunia Sempit" layarlebar maka ketemulah diri gue dengan Upi, nah disitu Upi menawarkan gue project yang dikemudian hari ini kita namakan Hi5teria. Tapi itupun gue harus menyerahkan showreel gue dulu ke upi untuk dia lihat 'tipe' visual gue seperti apa. maka terpilihlah 5 orang sutradara muda untuk mengerjakan project Hi5teria. Gak lama setelah kita mulai develop, eh pengumuman FISFIC pun dilakukan. Gue dan Baskoro sebagai penulis keluar sebagai 25 besar finalis FISFIC.
Petak Umpet Minako is an Indonesian movie based on Indonesian best selling survival horror novel. The story is about young people who held a school reunion and plays a highly known Japanese hide and seek alone Hitori Kakurenbo. Hitori Kakurenbo requires a doll for the medium for the spirit to possessed who who will turn as the seeker. When the spirit comes, everybody runs for their life not only chased by the doll but also their haunting past life. The spirit that possessed the doll named Minako. Minako chase all the participant of the game and take their soul. As Minako collects more souls it gradually turns into a perfect form. I’m an Indonesian director who grows with Japanese cultures and admires how Japanese forms their cultures into a popular culture for their young generation.
