This is some kind of late post. I just want to share the first 3 day when I was in Bangkok doing "7 Misi Rahasia Sophie" post production.
Then after having breakfast, we go straight to Technicolor, the post production office to to the colour grading. We were finished at around 9pm. then we hang out for some beer and play some billiard. then we go home at 12am, and i'm getting ready to sleep because tomorrow we will start another morning session.
DAY2
I open my day with walking down the street try to get my breakfast. This time we go farther than yesterday. the weather is still cold. Around 10.30 am we arrived at Technicolor and started to work again. Surprisingly, we need to make some adjustment (again).
Around 8pm I finished with the color grading with the operator and my DOP, then working for the checking the sound design and music scoring.
The scoring was awesome. I really love it. The music composer Andhika Triyadi can capture the mood very well, and he can deliver it perfectly with the style of music that I wanted.
The sound design Khikmawan Sentosa, was quiet standard. Honestly, I was too tired to think about the sound. I've been working since in the morning. But, don't worry I keep it the best. I'm telling Kiki to be careful with the part that we dubbed with the actor. not to clear. We need to keep the dimension with the surrounding.
Around 2am, we go back to our hotel.
DAY3
We're having breakfast at around the same street and went to technicolor at 10am. i'm very nervous for today. We will have Mr.Parwez the producer of '7 Misi Rahasia Sophie' to preview everything.
before having the preview with Mr.Parwez, me and the others went to the Chatuchak market, i bought some stuff for souvenirs. And then I went lost so I decided to go to the Technicolor bymyself by taxi although its also hard to tell the taxi driver about the address.
So the preview begins, I was very nervous. i sit beside Mr.Parwez. We go through till the end of the movie. and there are less notes. it's not major notes. I'm so relieve that he had no problems with the cinematography approach. He look happy with the result, all the colours, everything. I feel succeed. Thank God!
DAY 0
I arrived at Bangkok around 8.30pm then we go to check inn in some kind of apartment, near the Major mall. Then had late dinner at Mehang rest lounge. I ate hot pot Tofu.
This is not my first trip to Bangkok, in 2012 I went here also for sound mixing my movie "Hi5teria". at that time I was stayed at the Northgate hotel.
